I chose Reki for my healing journey and I can't even begin to describe the vast amount of amazing benefits that Reki brought into my life. As well as causing a massive increase in my own personal health and energy, Reki has also allowed me to help others during their times of illness. Personal Experience With Reiki

As a child I received an injury to my hip which as I grew older caused me many problems. The injury did not show up on the x-ray and the damage was not discovered until early adulthood when the pain first set in. In 2000 I was involved in a car accident which initially was thought to be a broken neck. Luckily the injury was severe whip lash but consequently I suffered ongoing severe neck and shoulder pain. As the years went by the pain became unbearable and I was living on a hand full pain killers everyday, and in tears every night. I'd been to the doctor, years of excruciating massage and chiropractic treatments. Nothing worked. I was a busy mother of 3 and my two daughters were severe asthmatics, we owned a company and I didn't have time for this.

One day a friend informed me that a lady was coming to teach Reiki. On the day the course began I was in so much pain, and as I drove there a little voice in my head was saying “go home you'll never learn this today, you’re in to much pain". I continued on. On arrival I sat in the only vacant chair, a hard cane chair, feeling very sad and sorry for myself - headache, neck and shoulder pain and my pelvis was out and very close to tears.

Within 5 minutes of the course commencing the lady who was teaching us leant forward and asked me if I was alright. I told her I was very sorry but I was in so much pain and that I couldn't stay. My teacher was a very kind, compassionate lady and asked me to lie on a mattress on the floor and she would get back to me.

Within a short time the first degree attunements had commenced and it was my turn. Following the attunements we were instructed to do a self healing Reiki treatment on ourselves from the sheet we were given.

Following my attunement I felt the same and commenced the self healing process. Within minutes my left hand went to my right shoulder. After searching for the lump which sat on the right shoulder for years. I realized it was gone. I didn't believe it and continued to search for it. At first I was dumbfounded, I couldn't believe it or accept it and continued to feel. It was truly gone!!!

My knowledge of Reiki prior to attending the first level attunement was almost nothing, but I didn't expect anything as miraculous as that.

As a nurse and massage therapist prior to my experience if somebody told me that story I would not have believed them. I would have thought no way, the lump was never there or not nearly that bad, or they just want to believe it or worse still they are lying. It took me some time to really grasp what had happened. I couldn't believe it. I can honestly say if it had not happened to me I would not have believed the level of healing I received from one lady in such a short period of time was possible.

As the weeks went by I became concerned as every time I tried to do my Reiki healing in bed of a night I feel asleep. I told my teacher I didn't think this would work for me as I never finish a session. She just smiled kindly and told me to continue my Reiki as I would give myself Reiki everywhere I placed my hands.

I continued doing a daily Reiki treatment on myself everyday. I became attuned with next level of Reiki and my healing has been profound and life changing. I use Reiki on my clients everyday whilst massaging as it is excellent in relaxing muscles, clearing blocks and easing pain.

I believe God dragged me out to the level 1 Reiki course by the ear, to receive this life changing miracle. I was truly blessed with the miracle of Reiki.

Today I live pain free and my life has changed immensely. I will never forget what the gift of Reiki gave me. Today I am truly dedicated to Reiki and offer healings and attunement to all that wish to receive.
