Reiki is a spiritual technique that promotes healing, relaxation and rejuvenation. Reiki is performed by the laying of hands on the recipient and channels Reiki healing energy into the recipient. It is now widely believed that all things have energy flowing through them including people. When a persons energy levels are low they are prone to illness and when the energy levels are high they enjoy good health. Doctor Mikao Usui Usui Reiki is the Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force Energy discovered by Dr Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk in the early nineteenth century. Reiki is a spiritual healing but can be performed by spiritual or non spiritual people alike. Reiki is not a religion, it was rediscovered by a Buddhist Monk, but anyone today can channel the Reiki energies. Reiki holds no doctrines, creeds or contradictions to the Universal Laws of Consciousness and Love. The History of Reiki is an amazing story. The Reiki Practitioner places Reiki Symbols over the recipient and then channels healing energy through their hands and into the recipient. The symbols are used to enhance and strengthen the vibrations of a healing. Each Reiki symbol has different vibrations and are used for different purposes. The practitioners hands are then place over or slightly touch the recipient and cover the seven main positions used in Reiki, These positions include the charkras. As a practitioner lays their hands in a particular area this does not mean Reiki only goes to that area. Reiki Therapy always goes to the area where it is needed, and heals for the recipients highest good.should never expect a specific outcome from a Reiki healing. Although a recipient may wish for healing with a relationship problem, they may find following a reiki session a sinus problem has cleared.
Reiki Training is available to all. In traditional Usui Reiki there are three levels of training to become a Reiki Master Teacher. It is not necessary to complete all three levels to be a Reiki Master. To learn Reiki Therapy you need to receve a Usui Reiki Attunement from a qualified Reiki Master to open the channel to receive Reiki energy. This is a very simpe process and once the channel is opened you are connected to Reiki energies for life.
