Meditation is a conscious act to relax the mind, body and spirit. Meditation takes ones mind away from the events surrounding your life and self talk. It is often believed that one has to meditate for hours to find true peace and harmony. This is not true scientific results show that five to ten minutes a day has significant healing. Too many people the word meditation brings instant thoughts of a man sitting crossed legged for many hours not moving a muscle, and in a deep trance.
